If you are as big a fan of Southern cuisine as I am, this recipe is just right for you. This is my Mom’s favourite recipe. She says she brought it to her college parties and one time her future husband, my Dad, had a piece and had to know to made it. I think she’s making it up, but the cake is actually so good, there may be a ring of truth to this story.
